Naruto Mythos TCG: What It Actually Is, and What Lands in Thailand in November
There is a Naruto card game you can buy today, and it is not the one announced for 2027. What Naruto Mythos is, what is inside Shinobi Shiren 1st Edition, and what we are bringing into Thailand in November.

A Naruto card game exists, and it is not the one you read about
If you follow Naruto news you probably saw the announcement in June 2026: a NARUTO CARD GAME, a worldwide simultaneous release, a key visual, a comment from Masashi Kishimoto himself. That game comes out in 2027.
This article is not about that game.
Naruto Mythos is a separate trading card game, designed by the Italian studio Cicaboom and published by Zvezdar. It already exists, it is already on shelves in Europe, and it is the one Kira Cards is bringing into Thailand. The first chapter, Konoha Shidō, launched on 13 March 2026. The second, Shinobi Shiren, followed on 4 September 2026.
Two Naruto card games sharing a shelf is going to confuse people, so it is worth being blunt. They are unrelated products from different companies. Buying into Mythos today gives you no head start on the 2027 game, and the 2027 game does not make Mythos cards worthless. They are two different things, and only one of them can be bought right now.
How the game actually plays

Mythos is built around missions. Each round a new mission appears on the field and both players race to complete it. You deploy ninja, you spend Chakra to activate what they do, and you score when you take the mission.
The detail that gives the game its character is the hidden ninja. You can place characters face down and reveal them later, so an opponent looking at your board does not know what is actually on it. Emptying your hand to win one round is usually how you lose the next.
Standard, Draft and Sealed are all supported. A deck is built around a village and a team rather than around a colour, so a Leaf Village deck and a Sand Village deck do not play the same way.
None of it is complicated. The starter pack exists so you can open it, read two pages, and play.
What is in Shinobi Shiren, Set 2
The base set is 140 cards across ten rarities, four of which are new here, and Shinobi Shiren introduces a card type of its own, the Attachment, with 32 of them. Add the secrets, variants, chibi, gold and mission cards on top and the full checklist comes to 217.
A booster pack holds 10 cards, and the distribution is fixed rather than random:
- 4 Common
- 3 Uncommon
- 1 Mission card
- 1 guaranteed holographic card
- 1 Rare or better
A 1st Edition display holds 24 packs, which is 240 cards.
The four new rarities are where it gets interesting. Special is ten full-art versions of selected Rare cards. Shinobi is ten cards built on the duels of the Chunin Exams, marked with a Crown icon. POP is four designs, each printed in 300 individually serialised copies on lenticular stock. Chibi is ten cards that are not in the packs at all: one sits on top of every display as a box topper, and the rest are handed out at official events.
Above all of them sit three Legendary cards, printed with genuine 22-karat gold leaf.
Two of those rarities should decide what you buy. Chibi only comes on top of a display, one per box. Shinobi only comes in starter packs and team sets, never in a booster. Neither product covers the set on its own.
1st Edition, and why that matters here

Everything in our first order is 1st Edition, stamped as such on every card.
What that is worth becomes clearer from how the publisher handled the first chapter. Konoha Shidō got a 2nd Edition in June 2026, and it was not a straight reprint: its own stamp, different packaging, different serialised Secret Rare cards, two different Gold cards, and the publisher said it would be limited too. A later edition therefore does not bring the 1st Edition chase cards back. It puts different ones in their place.
Whether that translates into resale value in Thailand is a different question and we are not going to pretend to know the answer. What it does mean is practical: if you want 1st Edition specifically, the window for buying it sealed at retail closes when the print run sells through, not when we decide to restock.
What we ordered, and an honest word about demand
The first Kira Cards order is deliberately small. Four references:
- The 24-pack 1st Edition booster display
- The Gaara vs Rock Lee starter pack: four boosters, two promo cards and an oversized card
- The Kakashi vs Zabuza starter pack, the second one in the set
- The Team Set: three boosters and one exclusive promo card
Everything lands in the second half of November 2026 and shows as coming soon until it is on the shelf in Patong.
Now the honest part. Pokemon and One Piece sell here because Thailand already has a base of players and collectors for both. Naruto Mythos has no such base yet. We genuinely do not know whether there are twenty people in Phuket who want this or two hundred. So we ordered a first batch rather than a pallet, and whether a second one follows depends entirely on what happens to the first.
That is not a sales line. It is just how a small shop decides what to put on a shelf.
Which one should you buy first
If you want to play, the starter pack. It is the smallest purchase, it opens into something playable straight away, and it carries the Shinobi rarity you cannot pull from boosters.
If you want to open packs without committing to a display, the Team Set. Three boosters, one exclusive promo card, and the same Shinobi rarity the starter packs carry.
If you are collecting and the gold Legendaries are the point, the 24-pack display. There are only three of them in the whole set, so a single display is not a sensible way to chase one. Buy it because you want 240 cards of the set in one go and the Chibi box topper that comes with it, not because you expect the gold card.
Prices in Thai baht go on each product page once the shipment is confirmed. Delivery covers all 77 provinces at a flat ฿60, free over ฿5,000, or you can collect in the Patong store.
| Product | Contents | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 24-pack booster display | 24 packs of 10 cards, 240 cards total | Collectors going for set completion |
| Gaara starter pack | 4 boosters, 2 promo cards, 1 oversized card | Learning the game, and the Shinobi rarity |
| Team Set | 3 booster packs, 1 exclusive promo card | Trying the game, and the Shinobi rarity |
Frequently asked questions
Is Naruto Mythos the same as the Naruto Card Game announced for 2027?
No. They are two unrelated games from different companies. Naruto Mythos is designed by Cicaboom and published by Zvezdar, and has been on sale in Europe since 13 March 2026. The NARUTO CARD GAME announced by the official Naruto licensors in June 2026 is a separate product with a worldwide release planned for 2027.
Where can I buy Naruto Mythos TCG in Thailand?
Kira Cards stocks it from November 2026, in store at 179 ภก.4055 in Patong, Phuket, open every day from 12:00 to 18:00, and online at kira-cards.com with delivery to all 77 provinces. Until the shipment lands the products show as coming soon.
How many cards are in Shinobi Shiren?
The base set is 140 cards across ten rarities, four of them new to this set, and it includes 32 Attachment cards, the card type Shinobi Shiren introduces. Counting every secret, variant, chibi, gold and mission card on top, the full checklist reaches 217.
How rare are the 22-karat gold Legendary cards?
There are three of them in the set and they are the hardest pull in it. The publisher has not published a per-pack rate for Shinobi Shiren, so treat any figure you see quoted as unverified. For a sense of scale, the other serialised rarity, POP, is four designs of 300 copies each. A single 24-pack display is not a realistic way to chase a gold Legendary.
Is it worth starting if nobody in Thailand plays it yet?
That depends on what you want from it. As a collectible it stands on its own, because the set is finished, the 1st Edition cards exist only in 1st Edition product, and the gold Legendaries exist whether or not there is a local scene. As a game you will need to bring your own opponent for now. A starter pack is two players' worth of entry if you buy one and split it with a friend.
Does 1st Edition actually matter?
It is the first print run and every card carries a 1st Edition stamp. A second printing is not a plain reprint: when Set 1 got its 2nd Edition in June 2026 it arrived with its own stamp, different packaging, different serialised Secret Rare cards and two different Gold cards, and the publisher said it would be limited as well. A later edition replaces the chase cards rather than reproducing them. Everything Kira Cards ordered is 1st Edition.
